Contra Costa Water District

For California, 2007 was a dry year, 2008 is a critically dry year, and the Governor has declared a statewide drought. Winter started off with a promising snowpack in the Sierra, but the storms came to an abrupt halt in early spring and the weather has been dry since. As a result, the state’s water supply is now well below average.

By saving water now, Contra Costa Water District customers can help protect water reserves in preparation for the possibility of another dry year. Please renew your commitment to water conservation and ensure water is used efficiently.
